Durham Tamils Foundation (DTF) is a non-profit organization established in 2000 with a mission to unite Durham’s Tamil youth and adults, offering them opportunities to engage in activities that celebrate and enhance Tamil culture. Our vision is to empower the youth to become pioneers in their chosen professions, while instilling a deep sense of responsibility towards caring for the elderly and supporting those in need, both within our community and abroad.

Hope for homeland

Hope for Homeland is a humanitarian initiative under the Durham Tamils Foundation dedicated to supporting vulnerable communities in Sri Lanka. Our mission is to provide meaningful assistance to individuals and families facing hardship by delivering essential aid, promoting education, and supporting long-term community development. Through the generosity of our donors and volunteers, we work to bring hope, stability, and opportunity to those who need it most. From emergency relief and basic necessities to programs that empower families and children, Hope for Homeland is committed to creating lasting positive change and strengthening the connection between our community and our homeland.
