1. What is Padimurai Tamil?
Padimurai Tamil is a special method of teaching Tamil developed by Mr. S. Rajaratnam, Founder and President of Canadian Tamil Sankam. It focuses on phonetics — teaching the sounds and syllables of Tamil to build strong language skills, even for complete beginners. Students are grouped based on proficiency and taught Tamil as a second language.
2. When and where are the Tamil classes held?
Classes are held weekly from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM every Friday.
School location: To Be Determined (TBD).
3. What are the fees for Tamil classes and books?
Monthly Class Fee: $35 per child (includes annual exam fee).
Payment Options: Pay in advance for 10 months (Sept–June) or every 5 months.
Book Costs:
Level 1–3: 3 books – $45
Level 4–9: 4 books – $55
Level 10: 2 books – $55
* Tuition fees $40/month

4. Are there any important rules for students and parents?
The school is a nut-free environment (due to severe allergies). Please do not send any snacks containing nuts.
